Cédric von Niederhäusern is a documentary photographer based in New York City. He was born in Bern, Switzerland, where he worked as a photographer for several media outlets and as a photo editor for the daily newspaper Tages-Anzeiger. His documentary project “City Upon A Hill” has been exhibited in the United States, the Netherlands, India and Switzerland. Selected work has been published in the books Swiss Press Photo 15 and American Photography. He is teaching at the International Center of Photography in New York, where he graduated from the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program. His main focus as a photographer is the current political landscape in the United States and issues surrounding it.
